WHAT TO EXPECT
ARRIVAL
Arrive on time with bare lips and no products applied.
Bring a snack if you prefer to eat during a break.
Wear comfortable clothing - you will be lying back for 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
THE PROCEDURE
Your artist will cleanse and prep your lip area thoroughly.
Colour and expectations will be discussed along with lip mapping will be drawn and approved by you before any tattooing begins.
Topical numbing is applied. Initial passes are made, then a secondary numbing is used on the open skin.
Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratch or vibration. Lips are one of the more sensitive areas.
Colour is built in layers. The process is thorough and precise - allow time.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER
Your lips will look significantly bolder and more saturated than the final healed
result.
Some swelling and tenderness is completely normal for 24 to 48 hours.
Do not panic at the initial colour - lips typically heal 30 to 50 percent softer.
You will leave with aftercare instructions and care pack.

Days 6-10: Peeling settles, lips look lighter and patchy - this is part of the process.

Please arrive with clean skin and no make up on the brow area.
We will start with full consultation discussing goals shapes, and brow history if this has not been consulted already.
I will map and draw your brow shape before tattooing begins, and we will review together until you are happy with the shape, symmetry and thickness.
I do not pre numb for various reasons however is applied once the skin is open, the sensation is minimal and more like a scratch.
Your finished brows will appear warmer in colour and darker than the healed result. This is normal and expected, the colour will soften considerably as your skin heals over the following 6 weeks.
-
You will go home with an aftercare kit containing everything you need to care for your new brows, depending on your treatment and skin type, I will let you know whether to follow the wet heal using the balm provided or a dry heal with no product applied.
please follow whichever method I recommend for you, as this is chosen based on your individual skin.
If wet healing, apply a thin layer (rice grain size amount) using a clean cotton bud, morning and night for the first 7 days after tattooing.
the area should never look greasy or wet (this is a wound and needs air to breathe)
If dry healing keep the area completely clean and dry with no product.
For the first 7 days
.keep brows dry during showering no direct water pressure on the area. Pat dry ONLYAvoid sweating from exercise, saunas, swimming and direct sun exposure for two weeks.
DO NOT pick, scratch or peel any flaking skin, this can pull out pigment and affect your final result.
Avoid make-up, skincare actives, and sunscreen directly on the brow area until fully healed usually 7-10 days.
Some scabbing, flaking, itching and patchy appearance are to be expected. The colour will almost ghost (disappear) around 7-14 days this is normal. The true colour willl setlle over 4-6 weeks. A touch up session is recommended 6-8 weeks after your initial session to perfect shape and colour.
